| JML Hardwares Ltd was formed in
1983 for the specific purpose of finding a solution for the
ever-increasing problem of condensation, in Local Authority
and Housing Association properties. The visible evidence of
condensation and its subsequent detrimental effects on health
and furnishings was heightened by the efforts to improve the
tenant’s standard of living.
By 1986 a definite condensation channel was developed which
became the market leader in the late 1980’s and early
1990’s. At that time we produced 20 different sections
for different rebate sizes and glass thickness. During this
period many Local authorities were specifying the JML Condensation
Channel for all their windows and this continued until the
advent of UPVC and Double Glazing.
Over the years we have been able to produce and design many
different products for the Local Authority and Housing Association
markets and to this day are being specified for many of these
products.
Special designs such as the Dri-joint have been produced
in conjunction with Birmingham City Council and our latest
product the Door Repair Kit was inspired by Derby City Council.
With our own design and fabrication departments, we can produce
variation of our own products, or entirely new products, all
to the highest standards.
We will endeavour to respond to special pricing within 48
hours and we are available for site surveys in any location
(Subject to timing).
Please feel free to contact our Technical Department and
ask for Phil Leslie who will help and advise on any new products
or projects, which you may have in mind.
